@hpaero1: hahahahaha i know =] it just makes me feel just al little bit better hahahaha
of course everyone wants to get in!!!
i have a proposition: they should have MITES in 2 five week sessions like May 23-June 20 and June 27-July 25 or something like that… more money for them but less broken hearts for us =]

@ambaturkey11
great idea! let them know. haha less broken hearts is a good thing.

how in the world do you get a gpa over 5?
aren’t ap classes 5 on a 4.0 scale :O

different grading systems maybe?
^did you get an admissions update yet?

@anavazquez… thats what i was thinking… lol i have a 4.35 so a 5. something is like “***?”

haha i checked twice yesterday too! i was like… i’m sure that it’s in here somewhere. but alas it wasn’t. i haven’t checked today yet. maybe i should…

also, i think that splitting it up and having two sessions would be a really good idea. and they’d still have like a 12% admission rate, so what could it hurt?

Preaching to the choir

^
Haha, it would take more money =p (if it’s split into 2 5 week sessions).
I’ll still take a bit more money if split into 2 three week sessions.
If only that could happen… a lot more people will be happy =D

yeah! i think we’re coming on to something…
i mean…who could or would even want to crush the dreams of future scientists… all we want is enrichment! I say we start a petition =]

@ambaturket11: The Hong Kong program is only 2 weeks, quite expensive, and not as focused on my favorite topics. So I would rather go somewhere in the US that’s longer and more science oriented.

I am also waiting for SSP. They are both coming out next week. Hopefully, I will get good news from SSP.

why would it take more money though…? other than the cost of running the dorm and all! besides, it’s worth it once we cure cancer with all of our genius cultivated during the program. haha it’s an investment of sorts really. :D

that’s what I meant. It would take more money for them lol
Lol, I like the way you’re thinking! Of course, 2 sessions = more geniuses =p

@writergrl94: it is a major investment! I bet they would try to get out of it by not having as many students in the 5 week sessions
and I know that MIT has enough money for us…they have contributers!

@Sadahila: I’m sure you’ll get into both =]

@ hpaero1: haha yeah i get what you are saying about more money but i mean, would it be that bad? in the grand scheme of things i’m sure it’s not that expensive.
@ ambaturkey11: they probably would! i think they just want to like deny as many people as possible so that it’s more prestigious i guess. but i don’t appreciate it one bit hahaha
do you guys think it’s possible for something to arrive in florida before it does in delaware?

@ Sadahila I’m sure you will too! SSP sounds really cool, as does Hong Kong, so you’ll have a lot of good options :)

i have know idea about the Delaware thing… I’m in GA and FL already has 3 acceptances…
ohh yeah i thought about the prestige too

@writergrl94
haha true I guess. surely, MITES/MIT can afford it.

I guess it’s possible.

@ ambaturkey11 & wintergrl94:

Thank you sooo much guys. I hope you guys both get into MITES!! :)
