<p>also, i really don’t think you should assume that you were rejected because you don’t have it! unless you want to be more happy when your acceptance comes? but they were all sent at the same time, so not getting yet doesn’t mean you were rejected at all! i mean, i got my letter pretty early.</p>
<p>my essays were about writing a paper for the Marine Technology Society Journal, how being born in Zimbabwe and being part of Zimbabwean culture makes me diverse and has effected my viewpoint on education… aannddd… i’m not sure what else… one about Key Club being my favorite club because I’m president so I can have more authority to help my school. and then one about like wanting to do mechanical engineering.</p>

<p>and to those who are getting discouraged from applying to MIT next year, dont use a rejection from MITES as a measurement of your success, i know of people who were rejected from MITES but then got accepted into MIT, so if you really LOVE science and math, don’t give up! =]</p>
