MLB post-season 2016

GO TRIBE!!!

So happy for my hometown team. I’m hoping for a Cubs/Indians series…and sure wish I could go!!

Thumper, you are already there, but I’m hoping my Cubs join you.

Yes! One more!!

Yay cubs…only problem with these games is how looong there are, I haven’t seen the end of any of the prime time games yet, if they are going to start games at 8:30 then they really need to figure out how to cut the time down. Unfortunately, because of tv breaks for ads, especially in the NLCS and WS, they will be finding any excuse to cut to commercials, so expect 4 hour plus games.

No pity for you having to stay up late. In 2004 when the Red Sox were playing the Yankees, games finished past midnight - and I mean mountain time! It was past 2 am for several on the east coast.

And I’d give anything if they were doing it right now.

Looking good for the Cubs! Looks like I’m getting my wish for a Cubs/Indians World Series. Two teams who worked to get there.

GO TRIBE,

We had to move away for it to happen - hooray!!!

Congrats, cubbies!!

Yes!! The Cubs are going to the WS. An hour and a half after the game and the team is out on the field again celebrating with the fans.

Lifelong Cardinal fan and ecstatic for the Cubs!! They deserve this!!

Happy for the Cubs fans and the players, coaches and staff. Congrats! Not so happy for their sleazy owners.

I look forward to the World Series to see how the Cubs handle Cleveland. They are an interesting team who have amazing ways to win games. They don’t allow many runs and don’t score many themselves. If the Cubs can continue scoring runs the way they did against the Dodgers, they’ll have a good chance, in my opinion.

Born and raised in Northern Illinois. My facebook feed is exploding with the news about the Cubs. Despite not being a baseball fan I am happy for them and happier yet that it takes away from the political posts.

I have never lived outside of Texas, and I am very excited for the Cubs and all the fans in Illinois.

I love that the Indians have Terry Francona, and the Cubs have Theo Epstein…both former Red Sox staff. And both with the Red Sox when they won the pennant.

This is going to be a great World Series. I sure wish I could get tickets. In Cleveland, standing room tickets are selling for $750 each. Yikes!

And I hate to say this…but I’m happy to see a series with no teams from either coast! Go Tribe…and I’m happy for the Cubs too (I’ve lived in both places in my life…so happy for both Chicago and Cleveland).

thumper, Be grateful… at least you have cable or satellite.

@jshain nope…no cable, or satellite. Until yesterday we had NO TV. DH just hooked up an antenna. If these games are on a major network, I’ll be able to watch from home. If on ESPN, I’ll be heading to a friend’s or a sports bar!

@thumper1 The games are going to be broadcast on Fox.

@alwaysamom woohoo! I’ll be able to watch the games from the comfort of my couch!

Although I am a Dodger fan, the Cubbies definitely played better than us and deserve the win. Good luck at the World Series, I hope you win.

Props to the Cubs. They earned it. Go Tribe!
