Only saw the last few innings, but happy for the cubs!
I want to see the team with the best regular season record win it for a change! My heart wants the Cubs and my head tells me it’ll be the Tribe…
This is such an evenly matched series! My heart is totally with the Tribe as I was born and raised in Cleveland. But I will celebrate for the Cubs if they win…it’s been a LONG time for them…LONG. And when I lived in Illinois, I was the only Cubs fan in my area. Everyone else was a White Sox fan.
Thumper1,
Did you see my concession from 10/29? Yikes, now what? Can I take it back?
I will root for my Cubs, but like you, I wouldn’t begrudge Cleveland a victory.
I was going to drive 2+ hours to watch w/my daughter, but the forecast is rain today, and plenty of it in my “South of I-80” area. Besides, my neighborhood is all immigrants and transplanted Cubs fans and the fireworks last night were like the 4th of July!!
Please no Strop or Chapman.
Who’s watching? This game is stressing my heart!!
Was at a dinner with DH, DH’s work associate and boss. Fortunately (as I was peering over her shoulder watching the game) she lived in Chicago and was also a Cubs fan!
4-1 Cubbies, top of the 5th.
Man oh man, Madden should never have taken Hendricks out. Too often these managers over manage . Geez.
The Cubs already have 3 errors and a wild pitch in just 5 innings. What’s up with that?
In the last two games many of the runs have been scored on errors.
Yeah Hedricks was yanked early. This game - WHOA ROSS!!
The Cubs are getting those homeruns…not the Tribe.

They are calling everything tight, including a lot of balls that were strikes.
This game is taking forever.
They have ALL taken forever!
Uh-oh. Here comes Chapman…
Alright! GO TRIBE!
Unbelievable
It’s not over until it’s over. But really well matched teams.
Before Game 1, I told my H that I wanted 7 games and extra innings in the last, with multiple runs scored in each of the extra innings, so both teams’ droughts and the agony can continue forever.
I’m tired…I’m not looking for overtime…
