I have Target bras that I put in a net bag and wash with my other laundry. They are ancient. And I’m pretty sure they cost less than $20.

Ummmm – I wear the same bra for seven days in a row. I wash them in lingerie bags in the washing machine and air dry them. They’re at least five years old, and one of them is probably seven. They’re still going strong.

I’m beginning to look for a Mom of Bride dress for an early June wedding. Location is Northern California coast. Ceremony outside, reception inside a renovated dairy cow barn. Barn has been renovated as a venue so not really rustic nor is it a western style barn.
My D says I can wear whatever I want. She thought I could go less formal than what I wore to my S wedding.

I don’t mind sleeveless but it must cover my back. I look terrible in pastels or dusty colors. Would love to spend under $300.00. I prefer long so I don’t have to worry about what shoes to wear but I would consider short.

Any colors to avoid? I had to avoid navy (which is my go-to color) because that is what the bridesmaids were wearing.
@deb922 that was the dress I wore to my S’s wedding. The color was stunning and looked great on me. @tx5athome For this wedding at this point it looks like the bridesmaids will wear burgundy so I should pick a different color. I would consider navy since that is a good color for me. I also have little in the chest department so I can get away without a lot of structure on top.
Right now probably isn’t the best time to look, since a lot of the dresses are for winter holidays. I think I found my dress in March for my son’s August wedding last year. I got my dress at BHLDN.com . But I just took a quick look and a lot of the dresses have open backs. There are a few though that might work. I really liked this brand, I ordered a dress when I was looking. The drape was really nice and the dress was very comfortable. I know that it is a little over your budget.
This is a bit over $300 but very attractive, imho.
I’m prepared to go over budget. @HImom pretty dress and I like the color but looking for something less formal. Plus I want the back to go to the neck. No V neck or scoop back. @tx5athome pretty but think again wants someless formal.
@deb922 I haven’t tried any Komarov dresses. I don’t care how they look on the hanger but I have seen a few MOB in them and they are pretty on. They are something I will try. I think a lot of the colors aren’t the best for my complexion. I think they are a nice fit for the venue. How does the sizing run? Did you order from Nordstrom or from the Komarov website.

@HImom pretty dress and color. I need not quite such a cut away back. I have a lot of sebboriac keratosis on my back so want as full of a back as I can get.
