<p>I just wrote my application, and while I don’t want to give you what I wrote I’ll give you some ideas.
- I want to join because
-I’m interested in what’s happening around the world
-I want to work on my debating skills
-I want to learn and have the motivation of competition</p>
<ol>
<li><p>I said because I’ve taken AP US and Euro and I’m a good writer, it depends what you’re good at that you can contribute.</p></li>
<li><p>I hope to
-learn about global affairs
-get better at debate
-have fun with intellectual pursuits</p></li>
</ol>
<p>Well… why do you want to?
And then think of something from your experiences or your personality which would be a good “contribution” to the club.
And for the third one, go back and think about why you want to.</p>
<p>Don’t feel pressured to join… however MUN is actually quite interesting and a more fun environment than debate (because you are all a team and you want to comprise?) and you always learn random facts from it… is that relevant to why you might want to join? :)</p>
