Eh. It’s finished and he gets to stay out of jail. But all actions have consequences, as we teach our kids. Killing an unarmed teenager will do some crummy things to your reputation.

Of course it did worse things to Trayvon Martin.

In some ways it’s karma. He followed a kid and killed him because he “looked suspicious”. Now he walks around looking suspicious.

I think Raylan Givens put it pretty well," If you run into an A-hole in the morning, you ran into an a-hole, if you run into a-holes all day ** you’re ** the a-hole"

Zimmerman seems to be surrounded, doesn’t he?

Yes, trust me I know everything there is to know about this case. Sigh. Way too much. But you are slamming Fox News by saying you finally agree with them while citing Juan Williams whose sole purpose on Fox News is to be the liberal voice.

For the record - I don’t like GZ. I wouldn’t date GZ. I think GZ is a big, wimpy wanna-be. But I don’t think the GF is without ulterior motives and his ex-wife has been convicted of perjury and most importantly neither of them ever reported any physical violence. That and 2 speeding tickets is a whole lotta nothing IMHO.

According to news reports he’s 2.5 million in debt.
Interestingly, he has no criminal record.
Of course, he should follow the law and lay low and probably not date because if nothing else he is certainly not a good catch for any right thinking female.

I don’t know about you guys, but if someone starts breaking things out of aggression, anger, rage, etc. I would see that as an act of aggression towards me and would feel in danger. I also biebe this is a warning sign that this person is uncontrollable/anger-management problems/potentially abusive.

That part is still a she said, he said. And potentially abusive is a pretty tough call. He was arrested so we’ll see. Normally, police do not arrest people for breaking tables or sunglasses or even making threats. It’s a big problem for DV victims.

George Zimmerman was arrested for felony assault on a police officer in 2005. He was drunk and beat a police officer who was arresting a friend of GZ. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor and he was required to attend an alcohol education program. Also in 2005 a girlfriend took out a restraining order against him due to alleged abuse. He was allowed to take out a restraining order against her. So the guy has three women who claim he is abusive.

How does someone who is supposedly 2.5 million dollars in debt post $9,000 bond after testifying that he is broke? The citizens of Florida must pay for an attorney to defend the latest charges. Can his creditors attach the money when the court is ready to release the funds? Can the state attach the funds to pay the attorney fees?

Let’s see now we have dueling restraining orders in 2005, shoving a cop when he was 20 and drunk, two speeding tickets, a claim by his perjuring ex-wife and her dad about gun pointing with charges dismissed, and this new lady yelling to 911 about a table and sunglasses while he could be heard in the background requesting that she calm down. Then she brought up the gun which is odd because really you would expect that to matter more than the glasses but to each his own, I guess,

Also, there were mean things on his MySpace.

"George Zimmerman’s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, has refused to appear on camera until she gets a paid national interview, WKMG-Channel 6 reported Wednesday night.

WKMG’s report that the women were seeking money for interviews with national news organizations was confirmed to the Sentinel by one such organization."

$9000 bail probably cost $900. Someone had to cough up $900 cash to a bail bond guy before release from jail, or if the friend didn’t use a bail bondsman…he slapped down whole $9000 cash to get GZ outta jail.
