More than 70 units

What happens when a transfer applicant has say 90 plus units completed but only really intends to use what is required for the AAT? Does this prevent acceptance to UCs or CSUs?

I took a lot of classes toward an abandoned AS degree in the past that will be in my transcripts, new major now and giving school another shot

Are they all community college credits? If so, you could have 574937475 units and it wouldn’t matter.

You have to report all units on the application (regardless of where/when you took them, or if they are transferable)

You get subject credit for every class (meaning they don’t ignore any) but you only get 90 semester/105 quarter units towards graduation at the UC you attend.

if they are community college credits, there is usually a cap on the amount that can be used towards a four year degree.
