For the Morrill Distinction interview weekend, does anyone know if the dinner on Friday evening is meant only for the student or for the student and parents?
Also since the interviews conflict with the Buckeye Bound tour on Saturday, do families just have to do a self guided tour?
We are from OOS so this is the only opportunity to visit the campus. Communication has been a bit sparse.
Stats won’t tell you anything regarding this scholarship. It’s not that kind of scholarship. So long as you get admitted to OSU you qualify. It’s all about the essay and diversity-focused activities.
Has anyone heard from other scholarships? Does not hearing about those mean I am being considered for Morrill? I’m a pretty competitive student, so I’m a little surprised I haven’t heard about the other scholarships…
My daughter did get the National Buckeye and Maximus Scholarships a few weeks ago. They came together through US mail.

My in-state kid got mail about merit about two weeks ago. $2k/year, I believe it was called Provost? No word on Morrill. 33 ACT, 4.2 WGPA.
