MY STUDENT GOT THE EMAIL THIS MORNING FOR MORRILL EXCELLENCE (IN STATE TUITION). There is still hope everyone!

I know that plays a big role in this scholarship, but i recognize its not all of it
FYI, your question isn’t pertinent as far as why this person was awarded the Morrill. Ohio publics are removing such criteria from scholarships.

It has never been about race.
“When was MSP established?
MSP was established in 1982 as the Minority Scholars Program and was renamed Morrill Scholarship Program in 2003.”
The applicant’s race/ethnicity/religion/orientation was not disclosed in the admissions application nor the Morrill essay. The essay was about the student’s outlook on the value of diversity and the DEI activities with which the student has been involved.

no that’s probbaly something good!!! to me that means you guys will probably get the morrill maybe today or tomorrow!! my friends and i have all recieved formal rejections so keep up hope until you recieve on!!!
