The dress performed beautifully and was so comfortable at DS wedding last Saturday. Stretchy, comfy, beautiful blue and SPARKLY. I will forever be greatful to walkinghome for sharing the link here! :-). My sis loved it so much that she insists that she is going to borrow it if/when her kids get married. Happy weddings, y’all.
Walkinghome, I see our dress still on the Macy’s website but it is listed at $179. Ouch. Looks like we got a bargain!

Yeah, walkinghome! Enjoy the day and enjoy the event! I know that I enjoyed this wedding so much more than last years wedding. Last year - monsoon rains, planning and buying almost everything we needed for the wedding except the BBQ, unloading everything in the pouring rain and then having to clean up and pack up all the things at the end… and the worst, the next day unloading all from the van I rented and having to drop stuff off at Goodwill and return the van and figure out where to store stuff when I was exhausted. This year -the venue had a “day of” wedding coordinator, we only brought a few small decorations to site, weather was great. We did shlep home quite a bit of stuff and lots of leftovers but it was not a lot of work. Way more fun and well worth the extra cost! It was also so nice to have the venue set up the table linens and do most of the cleanup!

Wow–that’s tough @lje62! Hope things will still work out well for your kiddo. I’m sure your kiddo must be hurting–big changes and cancellations are very stressful.

@lje62, I don’t know if I was too caught up in my own MOB bubble, but I just re-read the last few posts on this thread and realized that you said your daughters wedding was cancelled. I’m so sorry that happened. I hope things are better now.
