Mother's Day = Nothing

Any H who refuses to acknowledge the mother of his children on Mothers Day when he knows it’s important to her should be knocked upside the head. When you love someone, if something is important to that person you pay attention to it. It’s really quite simple. I don’t care what your family tradition was - if your spouse tells you something is important to them, pay attention and at least make some sort of effort.

My MIL sends ME a card on Mothers Day, and one to my H on Fathers Day! Sometimes she even sends us gifts! She says, “Your a mom. It’s Mothers Day.”

I used to buy both of the Mothers Day and Fathers Day gifts for our parents, but once my mom died I decided it was up to H to buy his mom a gift. He has managed to do so, even if it means ordering flowers or food online to be delivered to her.
