Motivation help

<p>Currently I have 3 hours of hw which is cutting back on Ec’s and things like that . Can others provide advice to improve efficiency and short term motivation </p>

<p>Write down 1-3 long-term goals. Outline the “steps” you have to take to achieve them. Think of these as mini-goals. Keep that around your desk for whenever you think you can probably skip today’s hw, tomorrow’s meeting, etc. </p>

<p>Hmmmm, when I think motivation, I think Herb Brooks yelling at the USA men’s Olympic Ice Hockey team. If you haven’t seen his famous pre-game speech or the “Legs Feed the Wolf” lecture check them out…</p>

<p>Whenever I find myself losing motivation to finish grueling HW every night, i question my motives and reassess my goals (short- and long-term). Also, having motivational things around you helps; I have posters hanging in my room and quotes on post-it’s on my desk to remind me why I’m doing whatever it is I’m doing.</p>
