Movie guilty pleasure

Some movies are ground-breaking, meaningful works of art. Forget those. What movie do you love just because?

For me, it’s Legally Blonde.

Legally Blonde is probably number 2 on my list, with Clueless a close third. But for me, nothing can surpass that pinnacle of fine acting displayed in Point Break. And, yes, my children have mocked me mercilessly.

Legally Blonde and Clueless are definitely favorites, but for me it has to be Keanu Reeves and The Replacements.

amt, LB is on Fox right now!

Can’t turn away from the Bourne movies. Watching Ultimatum on USA as I type this.

Doc Savage, Man of Bronze

Miss Congeniality

Is Galaxy Quest lightweight enough? I love it so.

Revenge of the Nerds. There are lots of others.

Father of the Bride, Parts I and II
Dirty Dancing

For my husband anything Star Trek and Pulp Fiction

My Cousin Vinny
Caddyshack

A few movies I can’t resist watching if I find them while channel surfing: The Birdcage, Notting Hill, and The Wedding Date.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
The Man Who Would Be King
Another one for Father of the Bride 1 and 2

You’ve Got Mail
Little Women

If you want to go old school, there is one on TCM in about two hours I rarely miss when it is on: The Best Years of Our Lives.

French Kiss.

One of my favorites.

Notting Hill (feel free to groan)

Pirates of the Caribbean (only the first one)

armageddon is my go-to fun excape movie…

But also love (looks like “My Sweet Babboo” and I could form a fan club)
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
The Man Who Would Be King

Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Greatest movie ever made. I have it memorized.

Top Gun
Down Periscope
Office Space

Road House
