Movie in Freshman English Class

<p>We watched this movie in my freshman honors English class but I can’t remember the name of it (it was 7 years ago). I don’t quite remember anything about it but I will try to give you some hints to help me figure out the name. I cannot guarantee that the following will be true but it is to my knowledge that they should be true and correct (I know, it makes it harder for me and you to guess):</p>

<ol>
<li>some “ideal” world that people live in</li>
<li>soldiers who fight/shoot really fast</li>
<li>soldiers wear dark blue outfits (I think, but most likely)</li>
<li>based on a book we read in the class</li>
<li>maybe something to do with “fire” (I might be confusing this with another movie though)</li>
</ol>

<p>Does someone know the name of this movie? Maybe one of you have watched it in English class or elsewhere.</p>

This isn’t a book, but it sounds a lot like your description: Equilibrium. We watched that after reading Fahrenheit 451.</p>
