MPulse TDA Audition Help

<p>My daughter is attending MPulse TDA and is wondering what monologue to bring. She really likes the one she auditioned with (and it has worked well for other auditions) but wonders if she should bring a new one. (She has a Shakespeare monolog, but she doesn’t like it very much). Audition pieces she has but did not audition with include: 4 Foot Ten (from A Chorus Line); Mrs. Webb (Act 2 Monologue about marriages) from Our Town and a piece from The Borrowers. </p>

<p>TDA is apparently focusing on Glass Menagerie - so no Tennesee Williams.</p>

<p>I just saw both of your messages and wish I had thought to look at CC before we dropped our daughter off at TDA this weekend. Perhaps we met you there yesterday? We did not speak to our daughter last night so not sure what monologues she ended up using, if any, for the first class… but she did take 2 that were new to her, different from what she auditioned with. It seemed to me the instructors were very nice and want the kids to succeed so I’m sure they’ll steer them in the right direction as to which monologues they should work with. Hope they all have a great experience at mPulse! I’m anxiously waiting to get an update from our daughter but don’t expect to hear from her often :slight_smile: If you all hear anything about what they’re doing, I hope you’ll share. I keep trying to imagine what they are doing. And hoping mine woke up and made it to class on time this morning!</p>
