Hi
As an international student doing an IB diploma looking for help in deciding between Michigan State University (Honors admission) and IU Bloomington Kelly Business School (Direct admission)… among other options are U of T Rotman and there’s a waitlist on UNC Chapell Hill as well.
At MSU
Overall all university ranking
Honors admission
Elie Broad School ( intended Finance Majors)
Elie broad ranking: lower
Sizeable scholarahip as an international student for 4 years.
Study abroad 3-5k scholarship that can be availed too if opts for the program in later semesters.
Better Professors rating by students on rate my professor.
At IU Bloomington:
Over all university ranking similar and close to MSU.
Kelly School of Business Direct Admission.
Intended Majors: Finance
Small scholarship for 4 years
Future instate status fee prospects in Indiana.
Kelly business school ranking much better ranked as well as among highly ranked on many listings like US news , Poets and Quants.
Rating on professors “out of the class availability” on Poets& Quants is “A”.
Although not sure, but feels like in Michigan there would be better future prospects job and internships wise with big companies.
Also not sure should consider this and although not much of a party and outgoing person but still considering the fact that will be going from middleast metropolis the venues to explore life outside campus like other cities close by e.g Chicago etc even visiting Canada are more in MSU.
