<p>Hello people, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my election speech for mu alpha theta!? I’m running for Secretary, but I have no idea what to include in my speech other than the usual, “I’m responsible, organized and good at math…” Any input and suggestions for my speech would be appreciated!!!</p>

<p>basically you need to be funny. that’s what’ll get you votes. but don’t do it in such a way that it makes you look irresponsible.</p>

<p>you have to make it funny. people dont like boring serious speeches, they vote for the ones with good senses of humor, and then you can say some serious stuff at the end of your speech.</p>
<p>make a pizza with pepperonis in the shape of MA(symbol for theta) in the middle.</p>
<p>and one w/ something vegetarian for those of us who don’t eat pepperonis (or just don’t like to) :)</p>
<p>and one w/ no cheese for those lactose and tolerant ones. :)</p>

<p>hahaa the pizza thing was an attempt at humor. but yeahh you can be like “some say im a god in the kitchen, so on pi day, i will be cooking everyone a pie”, and start off your speech by saying, vote for me because i like long walks on the beach…gets em every time.</p>
