Music Supplement

Hello,

I will be applying to almost all of the Florida colleges as an in-state applicant, so that includes UF, FSU, UCF, FIU, and UM.

Piano is a major activity that takes up most of my time. I take private lessons and perform in local, informal recitals hosted by my piano teacher. Although I don’t have any awards or certifications, I will be listing piano as an activity on the application.

Should I submit a music supplement for the Florida colleges? Is it necessary (do they need proof that I play piano since I don’t have awards or certifications)? Do the Florida colleges take extra supplements?

Bump? Does UF/other Florida colleges accept music supplements?

If it’s only an EC, then you don’t have to submit any music supplements, UF will assume it’s what you say it is.

Based on your major, you may have to audition.
