I saw your post from October that your daughter had applied and passed prescreens for Emerson, and I thought you may have applied EA and already auditioned.

Hi everyone, just wanted to put my D’s final list of prescreen passes/fails/direct auditions out here, because it shows how unpredictable this process is. For example she passed CCM, Penn State, BoCo, & Pace, but not Temple or Rider. All great programs, but some might consider the programs she passed better than those that she didn’t. Keep your head up everyone, it really is an experience!

I would love to know where everyone is getting admits! So far my daughter has been accepted at Emerson and Marymount- waiting on Boco after an audition last weekend. How about others??

Anybody who will be auditioning in NYC Unifieds -
I will be auditioning in Chicago Unifieds so I would love to know the vibe of Unifieds. Like how the walk in auditions worked, how did the individual auditions go comparing to on campus auditions, were there delayed auditions, and any advices for attending Unifieds.
It would be very helpful if anyone could share these informations!

Mine has been accepted at Emerson, Montclair, and Ohio; waitlisted at Missouri State. All BFA MT.

My D hasn’t received any results yet, but only started auditioning this month. Since your daughter auditioned for BoCo last weekend her result should come out January 31st. That’s my D’s top choice, she’s auditioning tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Any advices for the upcoming Chicago Unifieds!
I got lots of auditions scheduled in it so I’m freaking out these days.

How many schools are you auditioning for while you’re there?
All I’d suggest is to know the requirements for each school’s audition, have your rep book prepped, and make sure you have all your audition tracks ready to go (as well as a portable speaker).

I haven’t heard back from USC yet
I reached out to Drama Department. They said prescreen results will be out by the end of this week.

Audition Dates are February 3-6(4days). Are you going to audition all four days? Yes, it will be pretty taxing. Stay calm, but hang tough!

Actually some school have auditions or dance call on the 2nd so I’m gonna be in Chicago between 2~6!
