USCâs final callback weekend is probably better than that. They will accept about 20 out of 60, so thatâs 1 in 3. They assume 12-14 will take it, and 6-8 will decline for another program.
In general, it seems to me like itâs a lot of the same kids at final callbacks for these top programs. If the students get into several programs, and only get to choose 1, thereâs going to be a lot of movement of waitlists in April. Especially at places that donât âover-acceptâ and keep a long waitlist. But, also OTOH a few that yield almost everyone they accept.
I just have to say to myself, my kid will end up at the right place, theyâll end up somewhere. Last audition will be this weekend and then itâs just letting the chips fall.

if they offer for 20 all at once what happens if more than 14 accept? they will end up with a bigger program?
Yes, I think the MT class of 2027 is a little bigger, about 17 that started?
Hello! I saw that Boco decisions from NYC Unified started to roll out. I auditioned on the Sunday, the 26th. Did anyone hear that auditioned the same day? Iâve only heard of people hearing from the 24th and 25th. Iâm not sure how they are rolling them out though. Very early for them.

They really donât have a waiting list, per se, I donât think. They made calls to their 12-14. They may send some NOs, and hearing nothing is their temporary de facto waiting list?
Does anyone know when BoCo is sending out decisions? I auditioned at LA unifieds for them
They started to send out decisions from people who did NYC Unified auditions first. Not everyone has heard yet from NYC Unified. This is extremely early for boco to release regular decisions though so I am not sure when the rest will go out.
