My D received notification from USC BFA in MT
has anyone heard montclair prescreen results? i submitted in late december and selected the feb 17 in person audition. apparently they get back 2 weeks to a month before the selected audition date. someone i know heard back a week ago and they selected a march 2nd audition. i’m going into my first auditions soon and i’m sick of still having a prescreen result to wait on.
I thought Montclair didn’t do prescreens?
They require prescreens for on campus auditions.

Hey! So I’m sure everyone here has heard back from everywhere and got callbacks, but I just wanted to share my callbacks and my no’s bc I find it interesting! I’m a transfer from a BFA Acting program (dropped out after a year bc I was HS class of 2020… so yeah. Retrying for MT and Acting programs at the big age of 22!)

I’m an actor first, have done professional work on stage and for film, but I desire desperately to be a triple threat and to get better, so hopefully I get an official yes for an MT program!

Trying this question here since it didn’t get any traction on another MT thread:
I’m new to this thread. My daughter was accepted (early action) to the University of Illinois Lyric Theatre program. Anyone else here considering this program? It is high on her list, and we’d love to learn more about it. She had a fantastic experience touring, taking a sample lesson, and auditioning there. Thanks!

Does anyone know the process for FSU? I know that some Yes calls were made this week but how long does it take to hear about waitlist or the no email? My DD has not heard anything.

Nope! DD applied for Acting, but I believe Acting and MT decisions will be released together.
