<p>fellow threaders, we’ve all missed the point. hendrixfan said ‘anybody interested in music?’ He didn’t ask what instrument you play. Right now, nobody knows what aspect of music hendrixfan is into. He may not be into music at all.</p>

<p>so hendrixfan, tell us what you do. I assume you are a guitar-freak. It might interest you to know that the great guitar gods all (or most of them) lived short lives or died tragic deaths!!</p>

Hey Sucharita… Is sarod someting like the sitar only with more strings and a more “echoey” sound? It’s a North Indian instrument rite?</p>

<p>Aniwae, I’m a classical pianist and violinist. I play traditional Malay music on the violin in an orchestra. I write songs and compose gamelan style music for piano, just a hobby.</p>

<p>its a stringed instrument with more strings than the sitar and the resemblance pretty much ends there. And yeah it has a more resonant sound

I play the guitar and harp. oh is anyone comin to the Great Indian Rock Fest on 20th in Delhi. John Myung(Dream Theater bassist) is the special guest. Its gonna be fantastic.
