When dating a girl, is it presumed that at some point of the relationship she will come over to your house? Just to chill, check it out, etc…

The thing is I go to a private school with many rich people and my house is quite messy/small in comparison to my friends’ houses, and I fear that she will (whether consciously or subconsciously) judge me for that.

So is it generally very atypical for your girlfriend to never come over to your house?

Idk how to answer you question but…

…bringing her over would be a bad idea because it could lead to bad stuff happening! ahem!!!

Talk to her first and tell her exactly what you fear and why. Then you can decide together.

“bad stuff happening” - I don’t get this at all. If people love and respect each other - or at least like and respect each other - being together in any way is a good thing.

Uh… If you’re girlfriend is going to judge you based on your house, then she doesn’t deserve to be your girlfriend. Yes, it is very strange to not bring your girlfriend over to your house (barring something like abuse, overprotective parents, etc).

east, you have like no faith in people, do you?
