<p>I have a question… I had an assigned adviser whom I currently have an appointment with next week. However, because I have a COLA class on my schedule, my adviser changed to this COLA professor.</p>
<p>I was planning on dropping my COLA class because the time b/t this COLA class and my next class is too short for me to walk. Will I still have this adviser if I drop my COLA class?</p>

<p>Thanks! I really want to take the COLA class though, so I keep swinging between drop and don’t drop… So I really don’t know what to say to the advisers.</p>
<p>Email the COLA advisor, tell him or her that you’d like to take the class but that you have a class immediately prior, and are worried that you won’t have enough time to get between the two rooms. Many faculty, (not all!) are OK with a slightly late arrival provided you have a good excuse and you aren’t disruptive. Others don’t begin right on the dot of the hour.</p>
<p>Thanks for the advice. I think it’s a little late so I’m just going to try it out tomorrow and see. I took the bus and pretended to walk to my class. Was late like 2-3mins</p>
