<p>Has anyone else had trouble with the CC app for Android? Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago. It just gets stuck on “Connecting to server” and never connects. I have reinstalled multiple times, and have cleared the application data. Any suggestions on what else to try? It simply does to work anymore. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.</p>

<p>Turning on and off works for Androids too. (Assuming you mean rebooting the Android.) That solves nearly all my app problems. Otherwise sadly, no suggestions!</p>
<p>Same here. “Failed to connect to forum.” I still get notifications of new posts, and my other forms work fine, so no clue. And no, rebooting doesn’t fix it. :-)</p>
<p>I had to stop using the mobile app on my iphone because my phone kept screwing up when I tried to use it and eventually completely crashed. It froze and then it was on but the screen went black and wouldn’t come back on. So I deleted the app and now only view the site through the browser on my phone, I won’t use the app again.</p>
<p>Is this just a recent problem? I have had a lot of problems with the server being “too busy” the last couple of weeks on my PC, maybe it isn’t the app?</p>

<p>Thank you for al the responses. I have not been able to connect via the app since around Christmastime. I have had this problem intermittently before, where it takes a while to connect, but now it just never connects to the server at all. I have shut down and restarted the phone, and I have re-installed the app and still the same problem. It does not seem to matter if I am using the mobile network or am connected to WiFi. It just doesn’t work anymore! I am not having any other problems with any other apps. My phone works just fine for everything else.</p>
<p>I finally fiddled around, and deleting the forum from the main screen, then re-adding it, seems to have worked for me.</p>

<p>Allyphoe - I have no forums to add or subtract. It doesn’t ever find them because it doesn’t connect. Do you mean the app icon? That doesn’t help in my case.
CountingDown - I am sorry you are having the problem too. I will try to email them to see what to do.</p>
<p>Ah, mine connects to the main screen (where you can add and delete forums) just fine, and to some forums themselves just fine. It was just CC that it couldn’t connect to.</p>

<p>Same issue all at sudden both on iPad and android ad well …started when they did redesign of app …stopped using mobile app…disappointed.</p>
<p>Same problem on my android tablet. I uninstalled it, but I can’t figure out how to reinstall it. Seems like the page used to prompt me to add the app, but now it doesn’t.</p>
<p>The IPad and android applications are currently disabled…according to the admins. Apparently there was an issue with these apps and the new CC format roll out. On other threads, the admins have said that these applications are disabled for now, but are a priority to get fixed.</p>
<p>iPhone app isn’t working either. It started when they changed (I mean “upgraded”) the CC forums. Based on the angry comments/reviews on the app online it’s not working for anyone. Sad since that was my primary way of reading here.</p>
