  • school plays: into the woods this years (i played jacks mother) and last years one that was specially made to celebrate the 50th years of my school ( i was part of the chorus),
  • i play a lot of instruments: piano 15 years, saxophone soprano, lire,
  • sing,
  • dance: i was in some dance festivals
  • school spirit, i march for 5 years in the national marching day playing the lire and the saxophone tenor,
  • part of the school band: lieutenant colonel playing saxophone
  • won the art medal of my class
  • i won the Bible concert in Panama and went to Israel to represent my country in the international Bible concert
  • i organize many events to celebrate Jewish festivities,
  • went this last 4 years to a leadership course of bnai brit international,

<p>well… ur ECs are pretty gd, and as u said recommendations are excellent; that will be a plus point.</p>

<p>but i rlly think your SAT scores need to be higher.
try taking the test again and make sure u get a better score… </p>

<p>Sorry, but I can’t imagine they could accept you with your present scores. Their stats show they don’t accept anyone with your scores.</p>

<p>Wow, your GPA, rank, and ECs are great, but it’s almost impossible to get in with those SAT scores. You have a slim chance if you’re gonna pay full tuition.</p>

<p>thats a problem fo rme B407— i cant pay full tuition, actually i cant even pay half of it… i come from a huge family its really hard for me…thats why i hope i get a schoalrship or financial aid if i get in…</p>

<p>Lise, why are you still posting this question? Look at the common data set. There are ) people at WUSL with your scores. Zero. Move on, spend your time on things that can happen for you like studying for an SAT retake. This is just silly.</p>

<p>Lisedaton, i would not waste my time applyin to Washington U. You will not get in to this school, let alone receive scholarships with those mediocre test scores. Those scores are low even for schools that are no where near top 25 status.</p>

<p>Although some comments on this thread may sound harsh, please DO take their advise. I don’t usually censure people about their test scores, but your SAT is especially low. Sometimes, being able to face the reality and set oneself realistic goals can be a good indication of one’s level of maturity. Don’t hesitate to pm me if you’ve any questions. Best of luck!:)</p>

<p>im sorry but I didn’t get into Wash U last year with a 2340 and I did ED II </p>

<p>SAT I": 800m 800 cr 740 math
SAT II: korean 800 US history 760 Lit 710 Math IIC 800</p>

<p>GPA 3.8</p>

<p>actually no one got into Wash U from my school if i think about it…</p>

<p>switch7, you got some chance in Bates (I heard they don’t really go for sat scores) (CR is bit low as I see it, for some colleges…anyways who knows)</p>

<p>All the same lisedaton , no chance whatsoever (if you require financial aid in WUSTL then you will have to apply for academic scholarships and for that you need high SAT scores (around 97 percentile , as they call it!!)
I know Wustl is really cool but sometimes it’s just better to forget it , just the way I did!!</p>

<p>In Great Britain the cutoff is around 105-109 for the top universities and even in the US it will be around 100. It explains your SAT scores but I doubt it will help you.</p>

<p>well the passing mark for the toefl is 79-80, and well i didnt study or anything, so thats my real english i guess…</p>
