My class dilemma

<p>Currently I’m a junior and I’m struggling with my college prep spanish III class.
Currently I have a A- (approx. 91.7) and i’m finding it very difficult to maintain an A. The problem is I feel as if I might end up with a B. What angers me the most is that I’ve talked to many students who are taking spanish III and who have different teachers are saying that their class is pretty easy. Truth is i’ve talked to many past students and they agree with me that this teacher is extraordinaryly hard. Many hard-working AP students like myself ended up with B’s last year. Speaking of which my friend who is number 2 in the class has a 90 percent right now. </p>

<p>So my question is what should i do? I understand life isn’t fair but this pure ignorance angers me. Year and year she goes by grading her class way harder compared to the other spanish classes. I deserve that A, i can’t let a B in a college prep class shatter my GPA.</p>

<p>imo, there’s your real problem. it seems like you believe that a B will be the end of the world. there is NOTHING wrong with getting a B every once in while, especially in a tough course like the one you describe. work hard, man it out and pull a hard-earned B+ and maybe even an A-minus. i promise, you will be alright.</p>

<p>Keep working hard. Everyone has to deal with bad teachers, so just keep trying and as hpa10 said, keep your still impressive grades in perspective.</p>

Deal with it. It sounds like you’re expecting an easy A because you work hard and just because she doesn’t give them out doesn’t make her a bad teacher. It certainly doesn’t make her guilty of ‘pure ignorance’. In fact, when compared to a student who can’t even handle a B+ I don’t think it’s a contest about who is.</p>
