In Greece, the system is really different. Our schools dont have any more competitive classes. How do i calculate my unweighted GPA then?
Don’t worry about this. You don’t have a weighted GPA.
More to the point, you do not calculate anything. You transcribe the GPA are reported on your transcript. Admissions officers will convert from the Greek grading scale, if needed.
And I’ll add, admissions committees in most big colleges will be familiar enough with the education system in Greece to properly evaluate your application.
You need 18 in several “direction” and “general” subjects in the Pan Hellenic Examinations and it has to be for the “general” Apolytirion. That demonstrates excellence in the hardest curriculum available.
Due to a certain weakening of the Apolytirion, US subject tests will be thoroughly examined so you need to prepare for those as well, and score high. (And obviously you’ll need to do very well on the SAT or ACT).
@MYOS1634 do i need to sit for the Pan Hellenics? May i dm you please? I got some questions
Well, insofar as Pan Hellenic would be linked to your Apolytirion… What else would you do?
Yes you can DM.
