My daughter is not reading in college and comes back to her room at 3 am everyday please help

You will not be able to get them to void last semester’s grades. Those are in the books. For this semester, you have to look into the withdrawal policies. Some colleges might allow a late withdrawal, which would void the grades. In some cases, if she happens to get a diagnosis (like for mental illness), she might be able to get a retroactive medical withdrawal, but this won’t work if she’s just failing classes for reasons within her control.

Some colleges will allow students to retake courses for replacement grades. If your daughter’s college allows this – let’s say she fails her classes but is still allowed back, maybe on probation – then she could retake the classes she failed this year, and the best grade she earns for those classes would stand. But you’d have to look into the university’s policies to see if they allow that.

Every college is different, however, so you need to look into this college’s policies. And if your daughter is over 18, that adds another layer of complication, because the administration will not be able to share information about grades without her permission. You wouldn’t even be able to request a withdrawal if such an option exists - she would have to do that. So you’d have to figure this out without knowing the specifics of her record.
