<p>Oh well…i was waitlisted…no thanks, Northeastern! With over 27,000 applications, I highly doubt I would get in off the waitlist, so IU here I come unless by some miracle I get into GW. This just wasn’t meant to be, I wish you all the best of luck. Keep me posted.</p>

<p>fresco, I have no idea. It really depends on how many people are planning to actually attend Northeastern. I guess they will be taking a lot of WLed applicants off, if a lot of people applied to NU as their safety…</p>

<p>Damn, two waitlists in one day! (NEU and BU). That sucks. If I didn’t get the Fordham acceptance I’d probably be pretty down. But right now I guess I’m balanced, emotion-wise, hah.</p>

<p>so we all go waitlisted. more like grey thursday. i’m about to call right now to get a spot especially after being rejected by clark. ouch. tough day.</p>

<p>yeah no one was there, sometimes i forget about the time difference. but i did talk to my guidence counselor and she was very optomistic about me getting in off the list, she was actually optomistic about everyone on the waitlist getting in. she was like. oh yeah totally you’re in, you’re just not in yet. it raised my sprits until i remembered she said i was a shoe in for rd a week ago. hmm. anyway</p>
<p>i still have the potential to be the very first person in histoy to be rejected by clark and accepted by brown. who’s ready for it? anyone? anyone? yeah okay i know, i’m dillousional, i havent slept since a nap on saturday afternoon. gyuuh.</p>
<p>fresco, not to burst your bubble but my counselor said quite the opposite, that with the incredible numbers that applied this year the waitlist is as big as ever, typcially they only take like 5-7% off the waitlist, TRUST ME do not hold your breath. She is ultra realistic about these things and did not want to discourage me. She also said its her experience with waitlists in general that it most of the time doesn’t happen HOWEVER if this is really your first choice you can appeal to them that way and express that and have your counselor get involved, and keep them updated etc…but also have a good first choice in mind. Best of luck. Shiba, congrats you got into BU and not Norhteastern! WOW! BU is a way better school. Good luck, I am also considering Bentley so who knows maybe we will meet up one day after all. </p>
<p>SO WIERD how so many of us were waitlisted!! BTW for what its worth my page IS STILL GRAYED OUT and never disappeared! Go figure, there is NO system here despite our speculation is all it proves.</p>
<p>Personally, I think that this will be the year that Northeastern officially surpasses BU in terms of admissions difficulty. Both are great schools though so you can’t go wrong with either one.</p>
