My GPA system sucks

Ok…so our UW Gpa is out of 4.5 The thing is…it’s not calculated from the number grade in each class. Basically
A+ (95+) is 4.5
A(90-94) is 4
B+ (85-89) is 3.5
B(80-84) is 3
and so on…

My gpa is 4.07 (out of 4.5) and i feel like that doesnt look that good[even though my rank is good…10/350)

how do u convert my gpa on a 4.0 scale…could u tell me? if it helps these r my grades

2 A+s, 5 As, 1 B+

bump . please help…

Well, all 4.0 scales are different. Mine is tough too, I doubt it would even help.

94+ = A = 4.0
90+ = B+ = 3.5
86+ = B = 3.0
80+ = C+ = 2.5
etc.

With +0.5 on the class only if it’s AP. No grade boost for honors. My scale might marginally help you, but it probably wouldn’t if you don’t have any/many APs.

93+/4.0 is an A at my school, with no A+. Only a .3 boost for honors/AP.

Your GPA on my school’s 4.0 system is a 3.9125 (so 3.91) assuming you have no AP/honors, 4.2125 (so 4.21) assuming you have 8 AP/honors, and 4.0625 (so 4.06) assuming you have 4 AP/honors. So the number of honors/AP makes a big difference.

Our school:

93+=A=4
90-93=A-=3.7
87-89=B+=3.3
83-86=B=3.0
80-82=B-=2.7
77-79=C+=2.3
73-76=C=2.0

We have 90+/4.0 is an A, 80+/3.0 is a B and so on, and a 1 point boost for APs (none for honors).

98-100 4.0
93-97 3.666
90-92 3.333
87-80 3.0
83-86 2.666
80-82 2.333

"how do u convert my gpa on a 4.0 scale…could u tell me? if it helps these r my grades

2 A+s, 5 As, 1 B+"

your grade point average would be 3.875
