<p>All my life I never knew what I wanted to do. My parents pushed me to become a doctor even though that wasn’t what I wanted. So I was stuck doing subjects I didn’t want to do, therefore I wasn’t doing well in them.
It’s not until recently that I realized I really want to go into software engineering, and it really sucks because my science subjects are quite bad. Even though I’m in grade 11 I know that I don’t have time left and that I probably have my Ec’s, essays, SAT tests and letters of recommendation to rely on but I know that that might not be enough.
I have no idea what to do. I feel like I’ve ruined my life.</p>

<p>Help with what? How did you ruin your junior year by finding out what career you want to go into?</p>
<p>You still have Senior and college to pick the classes you want. I kind of agree with Niquii77, finding out what you want to do isn’t a mistake, it’s actually a good thing, a very good thing. If you’re worried about grades, like I said, you still have Senior year. Brush this off your shoulders, and forget about it. Your fine.</p>
<p>There isn’t really a problem here. You’re still going to go to college, so you still have a chance to be a software engineer. Maybe you won’t end up at Stanford, but so what?
Do well in college and you can go almost anywhere for grad school. What’s the problem?</p>
