My son is....(Mascot Poll!)

First I was mom of a Banana Slug, then a Lumberjack, now an Anteater! It’s kind of funny actually.

So, what’s your (or your child’s) mascot.

Sorry if this is silly. I think the college application/admissions process has turned me goofy!

My parents are Great Danes, and I’ll either be a Gamecock, Seminole, or Bulldog.

Just to test my skills, those are UCSC, Stephen F. Austin, and UCI?

My dad’s a Miner, and I’ll either be a Lion or…a…Big Red?

the Lumberjack is Humboldt State University in Northern Cal.

I was a Camel, and now I’m a – uh – Big Green.

My son is a Tiger.
My other son is a Goat. Fear the Goat!
Daughter was a Wolf.
Other daughter is a Lobos (wolf). Not the same schools! 2500+ miles apart…

All were cougars first though!

Kat

I was hoping for some kind of magazine-type quiz… “My kid is a ___” with 45 different multiple choice questions and then I would discover that my kid was actually a “blank” Sounds like more fun…

It’s fun when schools with the same mascot play one another in a “big game”… BYU vs WSU vs Houston - a big Cougar brawl on the basketball court…

An Owl and a green wave/pelican

I was a Bulldog and H was a Bear…kids were Bears, Rams in HS then Blue Jays and , Mountain Hawks.

I have no idea what my mascot is - actually I think it’s sort of a pilgrimy thing that’s supposed to be John Harvard. mathson’s mascot used to be a piece of tartan, but they recently voted in a Scottie who wears a tartan neckerchief.

I was (and am still!) a Bulldog growing up and through high school. Now I am a Redhawk in college. And I currently am doing my clinical assignment at a high school that is the Bulldogs. Once a Bulldog; always a Bulldog!

Another Owl parent here!

My daughter is a Duke - weird, I know. I was an Indian but that was deemed politically incorrect so now I have an identity crisis.

S is a Big Green, which is what exactly? (The college’s Indian mascot was banned and they haven’t figured out what to subsitute for it. Two suggestions were the DartMoose and “Keggie” the beer keg.) I was a Leopard. Pawprints are always cute.

I was an Eagle, H was a Terrier (opposite ends of Commonwealth Avenue). D had no interest in either place, and is now part of the Pride.

At work, I am a Bengal - LOL!

Jumbo the elephant.

Nephew’s mascot wins for originality (and alarm factor) though: the Green Terror.

I was a Pirate (sometimes a Buccaneer, depending on the sport). D is a Carl. S will be either an Engineer, Engineer, Engineer, or a Miner Joe. Tech schools are SO imaginative.

S is a Duck, D is a Mule. I love fierce critters like those. :)

3, possibly 4 ?, generations of the fighting Quakers…

my dh was a ram then a trojan. I was an aztec. S hopes to be a bruin, kingsman or a mustang!
