My son is....(Mascot Poll!)

I want to go to Scottsdale Community College so I can be an artichoke.

Daughter was a Gator and is now a Mountaineer.

Many years ago during a night of too much alcohol with some friends, “What is a Hoya?” came up in conversation. I called the Washington Post sports desk and asked them - I really thought they would know. Nope, there were 2-3 writers working that night and none of them knew. Today, I can go to the Hoya website to find the answer.

I’m a Badger, and proud of it! D1’s a Brewer, D2’s a Canoneer, like her Dad.

I don’t think my school had a mascot “back in the day”

My H was a Hornet, then a Jayhawk - ROCK CHALK

Our oldest was also a Jayhawk - now heading to graduate school and will be either a
Golden Gopher, a Fighting Illini, or a Nittany Lion!

Our youngest is simply a Bear!

My favorite is the Fighting Missionaries. I have a cousin who is one.

We have an Eagle, a Crusader, and one of those dubious Hoyas in our house.

I’m the proud mom of a Warrior, Hurricane and Jayhawk. One of the boys actually lives with the “real” mascot and often drives him to appearances in full costume. He says it is quite a hoot with people always honking and pointing at them, and very startling the first morning you stumble into the kitchen to find him in costume.
