<p>My state (WA) is the ONLY state where u have to pay sales tax on both Amazon & Steam purchases. </p>

<p>Not only that, but it has the highest sales tax rate in the nation.</p>

<p>I find that sad. :frowning: I could have been a hundred dollars richer by now.</p>

<p>Well, we Californians are supposed to pay sales tax for online purchases, but it’s impossible to enforce, so we really don’t do it.</p>

<p>Actually you do have to pay sales tax for a lot of online vendors in CA, like Newegg.</p>

<p>Sales tax on Steam is crazy.</p>
