Name one thing of which you are especially proud

<p>What kind of “thing” are they looking for? A material thing? An award? A personality trait? Any of these?</p>

<p>I originally wrote about a personally trait but now the word “thing” is throwing me. Any help?</p>

<p>If you are especially proud of a personality trait, then that’s a fine answer.</p>

<p>PFNMCP, hes not talking about the essay section… the 25 word short takes. If it makes you proud, then so be it. Stop worrying… they are not going to reject you because of your answer. They just want to obtain a more complete picture of the applicant…</p>

<p>I originally put “My teeth” (really, my dentist thinks I should be proud of them too)…but I thought it was a little creepy so I put down something else.</p>

<p>I had to read it a couple times but I don’t see any wrong with it. The iraq part confused me but I get it now. Nice.</p>

<p>I haven’t seen this year’s short response prompts this year since my daughter applied last year. This actually looks like a reasonable question to ask someone.</p>

<p>My favorite “getting to know you” question is “Describe one of your scars and how you got it.” What were the other short answer prompts for Yale this year, if you don’t mind my asking?</p>

<p>Hahah yes, teeth…but like I said, just a bit creepy. I ended up writing about “my ability to pack huge amounts of luggage into tiny suitcases” :D</p>
