Name one thing you will do, that you’ve been putting off, after we are past Covid.

Travel–first trip–return to Croatia and Italy.

Our first trip will be for my postponned 50th b-day to Scotland. I have a bad feeling we’ll be waiting quite a while though.

Full on body hug with my daughter and son in law.

I don’t need anything else.

See S2, DIL, and grandkids.

Have my mother’s unveiling. She died in Feb, so we did have a funeral.

Travel anywhere.

Have a day where I don;t have this underlying sense of unease about pandemics, face masks, germs . . .so have a carefree day!

Run a race in New York City.

3 week trip to Hawaii.

I’m with you. We were supposed to have gone in May.

A belated reception for my kid who got married in July via Zoom. Which would, I trust, also involve seeing all our far flung families.

See our son. This is the longest we’ve gone without seeing him in our lives. Last hug was January 4th.

Go to the theater for a live performance!

Choatiemom,
I haven’t since my son since early October, at his wedding. Longest time ever.

See friends; I miss my friends

Oh, yeah. I’ve seen some in person (socially distanced), some on Zoom, always difficult to arrange. And not the same as making a quick plan to meet!

Have the three solar panel companies update their estimates, and traipse through my attic to see if I need a whole new roof before installation. Yes, I know I could get the work done now but I just don’t have the heart to move forward with this project.

Make another trip with my mom back to her childhood home. We promised her we would do that as soon as we are allowed to travel. I hope she will be well enough to take the trip.

See my kids, two of whom are on the opposite coast. Hanging out with my mother in her facility.

@momofsenior1 Hugs. So sorry for your loss.

See our son, whom we haven’t seen since Thanksgiving.

Because the end of COVID will mean I will know if my s20 can stay in college, I will sell my home and make our new home base in Italy. Was supposed to happen by this October. Instead of selling my house i instead turned it into an office building for the three of us. Who knew internet bandwidth would be such an important thing in my life in 2020?
