re#3, we had no-custodial waiver, but I’m not sure what it entailed. I remember the form, but don’t remember the time frame…sorry.\

Not sure if I understand your question, but if you went to a college for some kind of gifted program 5th grade or under…deifnatley not. Only list and submit any college transcripts that you took within you HS years.

Hm, I actually would like to know why there are so few applicants who get the Questbridge scholarship. I can see why they would be pickier because they accept you on the BASIS of knowing that they’re going to have to give you a full ride…

What do you guys think? Is ED truly easier?

@Crystal91: I think it’s easier but the RD of QB really makes it worth it. However i talked to a UPenn admin today at my school and he said that if Penn is really your top top top choice, then ED was the way to go. I’m sure it’s the same way for the other schools.

PS the admission rate for UPenn ED is 28%, while RD is 10% :0 jeebus…

Good luck everyone. I can feel the nerves building up in this thread, just like last year at this time of the year. Yes, I think it is worthwhile for students to apply to QuestBridge, because even the students who are not named QuestBridge finalists learn a lot about themselves in the process, and probably end up submitting stronger college applications. All the best to all of you–stay calm even though it isn’t easy.

@Sunflower28: Ummm it doesnt have one of thos elittle stars next to it so i doubt that it’s required, but i just felt like putting onein anyways XD

haha ^^ mine too. lazy teachers.
anyway, i had a question. because i’m applying ED to another school (not through qb), how does this regular decision forwarding work? if i’m a finalist (do i even become a finalist?), will i get notified in october? i am so confused. anyone?

The student photograph is not required. (It is one of the items on the Web form that doesn’t have a red asterisk next to it indicating required information.) I’m not sure if we have a current photograph here of our applicant that meets the technical specifications for the photo, so we will probably skip it.
