Calling all home schoolers
I’m really annoyed with myself for remembering that they were being mailed this week to homeschoolers and schools. I could have blissfully let time pass unaware but instead I’m neurotically obsessing…
Now if I had WANTED to remember a date for some reason…
It would seem that someone around Illinois should have got the snail mail if t went out. I just want to know if anyone has received a letter at all. Where is Paul Revere? :o3

I still have hope for today but last year the first report was from Michigan on Saturday. That was the only reported score until Monday when more reports started coming in during the mid-afternoon. Monday brought word from California, Kentucky and New York. Tuesday brought word from Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. In other words, it’s going to be a long week.
I found an interesting site from the postal service. For standard mail, from Illinois to Texas is 5-7 days. See you in a couple days.
Already 3:25pm in Michigan. Someone would have posted by now, either here or on the homeschool website (welltrainedmind). Not happening today.
DD is homeschooled. had hoped we would be one of the first to receive a letter, but she took the PSAT up at the high school and apparently used the code associated with the school (she does take two classes there). So… we wait like everybody else.
Tomorrow. We will know something tomorrow.
Maybe it was sent bulk mail or through some distribution center. Are there other good places to pose the question - any Facebook pages for home-schoolers perhaps or Reddit?
Yeah - what one more day after almost 9 months? Well a day is starting to feel like a month for some – I will step away for awhile. Hang in there everyone!
All. Remember that they have only sent out letters for SF. They will send out the commended letters later. The lowest score we have that is a SF for each state is all we can go by until the commended letters come.
Commended is 209.

I am not a student. The commended score was released quite some time ago.
I think the idea is that if a letter goes out that a kid with a 216 made SF in a given state, we know that anyone with a 216 or higher in that state made SF. But we wouldn’t necessarily know if a kid with a score from 209-215 made SF or was just commended (unless another kid in that state gets a SF letter based on a lower score).
Not sure what you are saying, @Frankmeister, but the NM commended score is 209. For all states , IIRC.
