<p>There were a few people asking me about any additional scholarships on top of AES or for those who were not selected as McDermott finalists. UTD has a scholarship for those who are National Merit and lists UTD as first on their school choice form. They get a stipend every semester, tickets to cultural events and symphony, seminar series, and a community of scholars to be a part of. A really great deal for a great education!</p>

<p>I am taking advantage of this program as a national merit finalist. If I’m not mistaken it is bigger than any AES award with a $4000 stipend instead of the $3000 one. Anyways I really hope the program is as wonderful as you say it is since I’ll be in it the next 4 years!</p>
