Do they historically release same day as UNC-CH or before?
Two years ago, they released one week before UNC. Last year, it was the same day.
Is there anywhere on the portal that confirms student’s NC residency?
NCSU said on their undergrad admissions FB page that the EA admissions decisions would be out January 30th 
So not as early as we hoped.

Hmm, I just looked and I don’t see that. But today seems too early.
@Chb088 it’s in the comments under a post from a week ago. Someone asked when they would be released. I am also still thinking it will next Friday based on past notifications, but I will still be asking my son if he checked his emails when he gets home today just in case!
I just checked the facebook for NC State Admissions. They did say decisions will be released Jan 30 as an answer a post where someone asked.
Does anybody else now have the Upload Materials on their portal twice? It used to be just on the bottom and now I see it at the very top as well.

My son’s portal page changed as well to say upload materials at top and bottom
Mine also changed
My son now has access to mypack, but no deposit listed as payment due. (This was the case in last year’s thread for others) He applied to goodnight, and had his unity id from that, and was able to login to Mypack. Anyone else have same results? Some suggest it may be similiar to what they allow for vendors on campus, such as vendor ID.

It says right on the admission portal Decision Notification Date: January 30, why do we not believe them?
Because in prior years, they have released before the 30th.
