Any update yet? I hate waiting.
@Winterbreak For those that were deferred for midterm grades, we won’t hear back until May 15th. Maybe a few days earlier if we’re lucky.
Oh, I hoped they will let us know as soon as possible 
@Winterbreak May 1st is the deadline for those that were accepted to accept their spot at the University. That will show how much availability they have, and how many of the deferred students they can accept. So, we most likely won’t hear anything before then. After that, I don’t know if they’ll start releasing individual decisions, or release them all at once on May 15th.
I think that May 1st date is for freshman applicants. Which I could be wrong but I don’t think that affects us, transfer applicants.
Does anyone know when they will release the people that won Goodnight Scholars? I know it is this week, but I am hoping it is before Friday because the deadline to accept enrollment is May 1st and I don’t want to accept it until I know my options. I am seeing from previous goodnight scholars threads that it is on a Friday.

Well, NC State really does take some time to decide whereas other Universities already released their decisions. I understand that the current situation is bad for everyone, but I cannot spend money for student orientation, which is 65 bucks (luckily no enrollment deposit for my Plan B college required) and then I maybe get the news that I got accepted at NC State. Many other students are in this situation. Just tell me now if I am rejected and all is good but don’t make me wait and spend money I rather use for something else in this current situation.
Cited from NC States webpage: “With both spring and fall admission you can apply when you are ready. International applicants will also follow the deadlines listed below whether you are a freshman or transfer applicant. However, your decision will be released on a rolling basis, as your application becomes complete and we are able to review it. Once admitted, all applicants have until May 1 to confirm your enrollment or within 10 days if you are accepted after May 1.”
@Winterbreak I know. I understand your frustration. It stinks to have to wait this long for a possible rejection. Hopefully it’s a positive outcome for us.
Honestly,I am not counting on being accepted anyway. I just want to ease my mind and go on.
I heard some people already got their deferral decisions and that is making me tense as I really want to get in… Hope they do release others decisions soon

Like a FINAL deferral (= rejection)? Because technically we are all deferred and pending for mid term grades.

I have heard from couple sources or I may be wrong. I have been deferred for pending midterm grades as well…
