Need help creating list of colleges! [TX resident, 4.0 GPA, Top 4%, 1410 SAT; planning on doing nursing for CNR, PNP, or NP)

I teach nursing. Social media has many students thinking crna, psych np, or np in general. Good news is there’s lots of opportunities for RNs and zero need to rush and try to figure out grad school or possible specialization until you get a few years experience working as a nurse first.

Colleges that have direct admit to their nursing programs keep their numbers smaller so you will have access to professors.

Nursing schools do set up your clinicals for you but job placement after graduation is up to the student. There are always jobs open (although not always the “social media approved” unit, shift, or location).

Many use nclex pass rates as a way to evaluate effectiveness of a program. Keep in mind its pretty common to need a vehicle the last 2 years to get to and from clinical sites.
