do u guys have an insanely high number of intrusions blocked? i have like 51 with 46 being high level… what would prompt that?

I don’t use zone alarm but am pretty familiar with firewalls. Does zone alarm tell you which port was blocked? Tons and tons of Micro$oft computers are infected with IIS web server worms that blindly scan for other Micro$haft/IIS machines to infect.

nah it doesn’t say which port, but i use symantec so that should come up… it just says intrusions…

I don’t know, but the blocked intrusions themselves are normal, I think. I just upgraded zonealarm less than a week ago (upgrading resets the counter i think) and already have 138 instrusions blocked.

I not sure about the high-rated part though; I had 0 high-rated intrusions of my 138 blocks.

oh… so intrusions are ok? and what do u mean upgrade?

by upgrade, i mean they release new patches every few weeks for users to download to keep the program up to date.

i’m using the free version of ZoneAlarm, btw…

ya same here… i have automatic upgrades… don’ t u?

uhh…I have 5,226 intrusions with 60 being high-rated…

i guess it’s not a big deal then? i have 61 with 56 highrated

What does it mean for an intrusion to be “high rated”?

not sure… they say hacker related… but i’m on an encrypted wireless network…
