need ideas for care pkg joke

How about some really goofy boxer shorts ? or some of that Axe body spray that has the funny commericals with the “axe effect” on all the ladies?

oops, cross-posted with cgm

Movie classics—ie Rocky Horror Picture Show dvd.or how about…BARNEY!..

foot fongus cream…some condoms?

How about the game “Twister!” …the kids may actually enjoy playing.

My son would think a Ralph Lauren polo shirt was lame.

Or a really boring blue rep tie:).

I suppose for a really “lame” gift you could send an ACE bandage. ;)

They might be inclined to use it… you don’t want that do you?

some of the halloween stuff out now is very lame. princess crowns, etc. The post about care packages that is running around now also has some good ideas. I am still looking for the battery operated ‘growling brain’… that was suggested there.

You should put ‘I will survive’ on the cd.

I feel like a bad mom as I do not send care packages!

The idea of the Barney movie is a good one or any other video they liked when little…could be fun with friends…I had a kid into Barney, another into Care Bears…maybe your son was into Ninja Turtles? You may not have to even buy it but just look through your home video collection from when he was litte.

I send my kids a plastic dreidl (top for hannukah) anytime I feel like it.

I second the pocket protector!!

I LOVE the polka music! That is a hoot!

My D is a musical theatre major and I’m sending her a feather boa & some 50’s cat glasses. I’m going to include chalk paint as her room has a big window and she and her room mate will have a blast painting it up!

Might want to include a silly hat (ie: party hat). My son bought a fez and has really gotten a lot of enjoyment from it, LOL- here is a link to a wide assortment, but I know nothing about this company (my disclaimer):
<a href=“Fez Hats - Village Hat Shop”>Fez Hats - Village Hat Shop;

A framed picture of his parents.

And make sure he “knows” you expect him to display it.

deck of cards
poker chips
squish ball
glow in the dark stickers
silly putty
comic books

great idea on the silly putty, especially with the comic book! I assume you can still press the silly putty onto the comics and have the picture transfer, or does that only work on the newspaper funnies?

Having asked my son, he says toilet paper.

Even at 17…

Re the family photo: My D actually has an old 1970 photo of her dad in hippie garb up on the wall of her dorm room.

So, is the T.P. for the toilet or for tree decoration?
