Lazaro is just sooooooooooo far out of his element. He should have been gone weeks ago, but if he’s not gone after tonight it would be a travesty.
I’ve been a Candice fan all along, tonight just continued that for me. I also like Angie and Kree. I don’t get the Amber love. Janelle is cute and talented, maybe could have a country career, not at a Carrie Underwood level, but at Kellie Pickler level?

Why are they doing Burt Bacharach? Holy cow! And without updating the arrangements? Seriously? I feel like I’m watching Hee-Haw or Sonny and Cher.

I’m so happy that Candice has finally gotten the credit she has deserved. Those were two amazing performances back-to-back. Agree with Snowflake… vocally, Candice is in a class by herself and Kree is the next strongest singer. I would be happy to see Kree win but I am giving Candice all 50 of my votes tonight after those two performances.

I think Lazaro and Janelle will be in trouble Thursday. Angie might be joining them, based on her first performance. Similar to Angie and her piano, Janelle needs to sing with her guitar from here on out-- IF she survives Thursday night. It might be too late.

Hopefully either Candice or Kree break the string of mediocre (mostly male) vocalist winners during the last 7 years following Carrie Underwood’s win: Phil Phil, Scotty Mc., Lee DeWyze, Kris Allen, David Cook, Jordin Sparks, and Taylor Hicks. AI hasn’t had a successful winner in quite some time.

Jshain, Jordan Sparks is a girl, but yes, I agree that the girl that wins should do better than Lee, Chris, David, and Taylor Hicks. Philip Philips did pretty fine it appears, at least just based on “Home” being played everywhere for a year.

Candice or Kree better win or AI is in trouble.

I think she spells it Jordin, not that it really matters.
I cant stop listening to Candice’s performance. Something weird happened in the middle, like some one’s voice broke into the microphone or something. This youtube video (well, audio, as there is no video) removed the interruption. Listen again to the singing. Its incredible.
I am so in the minority - just can’t warm up to Candice! She has a good voice, but it does not touch me. I was in opposite land with the judges for much of last night.

Lazaro doesn’t deserve to still be there, but he is not the one picking up the phone getting himself in the top 3. Randy especially was downright hurtful and rude with some of his comments last night. I have no problem with not candy coating, but some of the comments were quite personal and carried on in other singers critiques - just not necessary.

I personally thought Angie did a great job last night. Her first song was not oversang - but beautiful. Kree as well.

But I admit none of these people - maybe Amber - sing the kind of music I would buy or watch after AI. Amber is at least more current to what I listen to.

Candice has always been my favorite. After last night, I’m ready for her to release music so I can buy it. I know that the styles are different but I also like Kree. I didn’t like Angie at first but I really like her now. She may not win AI but I think she could be great if she continues to receive help. She’s amazing when she uses the piano.

I usually fast forward through Lazaro so I won’t say anything bad about him. Janelle is good but not up to the level of the others. They like Amber because she is young, pretty, a good singer and can be a commercial hit ($$$).I’d buy music from Candice and Kree now.

All of them sing better than I do. Maybe not Lazaro He seems to be a sweet guy? Why does he sweat soo much? Do you think it’s stress?

Ugh, just watching the beginning of the results show. Listened to Ryan ask Lazaro, “Why do you have that smile on your face?” It was really rude, the way he snapped at him, the first time I’ve ever seen him be outright rude to a contestant. This could backfire on AI, if they start going overboard on that kid, mediocre singer or not.

This is another “vote for the worst” year. There is no other reason for Lazaro to still be in the competition. He’s terrible----terrible singer, terrible performer, and no xfactor at all.
It’s probably embarassing for the show to have him come out and sing so off key and forgetful of the lyrics week after week.

I used to think that the contestants lip-synced the group number, but Lazaro was so bad tonight I think it had to be live. It if were recorded, they would have fixed it in the studio.

I didn’t think Ryan was being rude or that he snapped at him. Sounded like he just asked him a question to me.

Maybe I didn’t read it right, but it appeared to me that Jimmy had just ripped Lazaro a new one, and he was laughing nervously…to which Ryan, without a smile on his face, just said sharply, “What are you laughing about?” To which he stuttered out an answer about Jimmy’s math (obviously it wasn’t the math, it was that Jimmy thought he was awful). Just came across as really mean to me, and made me cringe for him.

I’m thinking that his supporters decided he’d had enough humiliation and let him off the hook by not voting for him. Finally! I was getting so uncomfortable watching him.

Yes, busdriver … I think even the Vote for the Worst people had enough, and his tweenies, too. At least now he can kick back a little and enjoy the rest of the season, and he still gets to travel with them. Poor Lazaro … he was actually singing much better several weeks ago, but the stress just may be too much for him right now. His singing was so bad that I thought maybe he has developed a hearing issue or an issue with his ear piece. And yes, to another point, he did seem to sweat more than any other contestant, which I chalked up to anxious-ness in performing.

On a brighter note, so happy that Kree and Candice were top 2. I would buy both of their albums and enjoy each delicate note that they so eloquently sing. They never give my ears any odd notes and I feel something when they sing.

Janelle got a lucky break in not being bottom 2, but she is adorable, so I’m happy for her. I’m not sure why Jimmy and the judges think Amber is a shoe in … she does hit some great notes and her stallion legs are to die for, but her singing to me is not consistently spectacular. It’s possible she just comes off better live versus through the TV, which also explains the voting results.

Angie landed where I expected her to … for me, she has just done this show 2 years too early. Her voice is Katy-Perry perfect, but her natural stage presence and passion aren’t believable for me. I do like her at the piano, as does Nikki, but that’s because she is not moving awkwardly or trying to be sexy.

When they kick Mariah off next year, I think they should call a few of us to fill in for the 4th spot, but if it’s me, I’m sitting next to cutie-pie Keith.

Tbh it should be Nikki who will be leaving. Ive read reports that the producers are firing her for being late and stuff and also for her beyond crazy antics… All of which I agree.

Talking about contestants, I can’t believe Lazaron is still there bit’s prolly his votes that helped him take a seat every elimination round. Devin deserves that spot better than he does. Such a waste. America needs to get past his sob story and should see that he’s not fit to be in there anymore.
