I don’t think he missed on purpose. Who wouldn’t want to earn $15k per half hour a few times per week? I’m sure he’s a well paid engineer, but not THAT well paid.

I was very surprised he missed final Jeopardy but don’t think he missed on purpose. I have heard other long-term champs say that they kind of ran out of steam and just missed. He did give a plausible answer, just the wrong one. He also had the relatively bad luck of not getting any daily doubles in double jeopardy.

Ray was in the audience to “prove” there were actually 2 of them. During the Q&A, he said his siblings are actually better at Jeopardy than either of them.

While I had Jeopardy on tonight, I was on my computer and didn’t look up until right before the first commercial. Had to do a double take and thought maybe it was a rerun! It wasn’t until Ken was talking to Ron and they showed Ray, that I realized they were twins!
Can’t wait to watch tomorrow.

We’re now in post-season play. This week is Second Chance. As of yesterday, Final Jeopardy had 3 triple stumpers in a row. Hopefully, today will break the streak. FYI, I was 2/3; for yesterday’s, not only did I not know the response, but I had never heard of it when Ken revealed the correct answer.

I actually knew the artist - thanks to my job working at an art school. If not for my exposure to modernism through that job, I would have had no clue.
I’m not an expert, but also not a philistine, and I’ve never heard of the guy.
