New practice name needed

Honeysuckle Rose Health

Azalea OB/GYN

Oh my goodness, I’m snorting sweet tea all over my keyboard.

Hydrangea

Azalea

Wisteria

Voting for Azelea. Wisteria lane is not what you want to think of. Hydrangea invokes both the “hydra” monster and the letters that kind of spell “deranged”

Is there a reason that they can’t just call it “town X” Women’s Health Care ?

My GYN is at the Evergreen Womens’ Care named so because it is affiliated with the Evergreen Hospital (which, I believe, was called after the Evergreen State, our state nickname).

Do you like ancient gods’ names?

[Greek Gods](http://www.wsu.edu/~delahoyd/greek.gods.html)

I like: Gaea (Earth, Mother Earth), Rhea (goddess of fertility), or Hera (monogamy). Hera’s Roman equivalent is Juno (I like that one). Athena and Aphrodite are too overused.

Dixieland Women’s Health Care

BB: I like the idea of Hera…Queen of Heaven and goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, heirs, kings and empires.

So, it could be Hera Health Care

I liked “Deep South”.

A friend of mine suggested “Old Glory”.

Or Nemesis, the Greek goddess of divine retribution - paying the price for your actions.

(Today many people misuse the term nemesis to mean simply an enemy. But it really means an avenger. Interesting that the Greeks chose to embody the concept of revenge in female form).

I’d like a local plant name, so logo could be used on business cards/stationary.

rose
palm (could be Queen Palm)
hibiscus
lavender
camellia
orchid

give examples of local plants and animals

“Deep South Gynecology”?

Palmetto – much used in South Carolina, I would imagine.

Sweet Tea Gynies (alliterative)

Some of these ideas are soo funny… Seriously, your friend may have to stick to the boring approach.

Geographical snobbery at an all-time high, courtesy CC

Cool Breeze OB GYN

rutgersmama, we would be just as silly if it were another region.

I live in the midwest and would nominate Hot Dish Health if the practice were in MN, Eat Cheese Or Die or The Udder Clinic if the practice were in WS…you get what I am saying.

“Down There Health Care, for south of your Mason Dixon Line”

I call for a run off between coureur’s “I Don’t Know Nothin’ About Birthin’ Babies” Obstetric Service and mafool’s ‘Down There Health Care’ :);)

mafool, this brings me to Darlin’s OB/GYN…

You don’t have to call me Darlin’… Darlin’
You never even call me by my name.

Dixie Chicken OB/GYN
Tennesee Lamb Pediatrics
