<p>In response to the recent murder of Yeardley Love, questions regarding prior arrests/convictions will be asked of UVA students when they first log onto NetBadge to receive their email/course info, etc. It will ask a yes/no answer on their honor as a UVA student.
“The university also will make clear that failing to disclose an arrest or conviction will lead to disciplinary action, up to interim suspension,” said U.Va. spokeswoman Carol Wood. </p>

<p>Don’t know how effective these steps will be, but I think they are steps in the right direction.</p>
